Fireblade Alternator Cover
Mark18 - 4/5/05 at 11:05 AM

Hi,

I'm looking for a cover to suit a 1995 bike, I'm not sure which year bikes are compatible, but so long as the diagonal distance between the alternator mounting holes is 53mm it'll work. Thanks

Hi
be sure of the model when you buy one as the early type are different to the later foxeye models, you can tell by the early ones were flat on the outside (with Honda cast in it, as they all have) but the later foxeye one have 3 radial gorooves in em and the alternator mounts ARE different diameters, only some bike breakers will sell you anything!
Also 95- was about when the foxeyes took over from the round headlamp models
cheers

Yeah, I'm looking for the one without the grooves then, they all seem to fit onto the engine, so as long as the holes are 53mm apart then it should work.

'blade engine covers and the like crop up pretty frequently.
