TPS for bike carbs.

Does anyone have a Throttle position sensor from a set of bike carbs??

My carbs have no sensor on and i would like to make one fit for use with megajolt.

Failing that a set of carbs with one on.

Your best bet is to get a TPS from a zetec car such as a mondeo or escort. It would just be a matter of making an adaptor for the spindle and maybe a mounting bracket.Alternatively RS sell a suitable Pot for about £17 .

I was looking at doing this till i realised that at 34 quid the honda one is more expensive but ..... guarenteed to work and how much is a couple of hours of your time worth?

(still haven't bought it mind you - will prob get one from a breakers cause i'm mean).

My throttle bodys only cost that and the sensor was sort of free from scrappy, so happy to find an excuse to spend another couple of hours in workshop.
I have also heard some bike sensors are not fully compatible , the ford one is a linear 5k pot.
