As title realy after rear drums to fit my Indy and an LSD with driveshafts so I can convert them and still keep the drum setup.
Cheers
Ben
Ben,
Out of interest why do you want to retain the drums? weight or 13" wheel fitment??
cheers,
Ned.
To keep cost down realy, the cars already all set up with rear drum carriers and MK disc rear ends are another 110 notes to change 'em. So I thought I wuld just convert the shafts to lobro joints when I get an lsd rather than change the whole lot.
can you do that - convert the CV joints?
yup

hi, it is possible to change the joints, as i have done so on the car i'm building. the rear end is designed for drums but i've used a 4x4 l.s.d.. if i remember rightly, i used the 'drum' shafts and removed the inboard c.v. (with angle-grinder!) and then fitted the c.v.s off the 4x4 shafts, simply by removing the circlips and boots.
i have a full drum rear axle coming off my car soon - shoes done less than 20,000 miles so should be in pretty good condition if you want to make me
an offer
unfortunately due to size its pickup only from hyde, greater manchester
sorry only after the drums themselves as I already have the shafts etc on the car.
Ben,
Thinking about it i think i have some drums somewhere in a shed as i removed some from my donor. the driveshafts and dif have long gone but the drums
must be somewhere if of any help.
Ned.
That would be great cheers Ned
Let me know how much you want for them, and when would be good to pop round and collect them.
Ben
they're down at my parents at the moment i think so i'll have a look next time i'm down that way - hopefully over the weekend.
Ned.
cheers mate
