Sierra front wheel bearing

I'm after a new SKF bearing, either on its own or in a kit. Halfords now seem to have sold all their stock (pity as they were ~£6), and Ford want £40.

Don't suppose anyone stocked up on Halfords kits that wants to sell one?

James.

I bought a few in the end but have sent them on now... Sorry bud.

Spent last week phoning 38 stores to find an axle set of rear shoes for £4.05!

To no avail...

Chris.

Hi
Aren't there any motor factors in your area to try ? North west has places like Partco, try www.unipart.co.uk tel 0121 7170001
As for brakes there's 'Brakes International' www.brakesint.co.uk tel 01706 666 999 this is Rochdale number but may be able to help.
I dont know whether they'll do mail order but get in touch if not and i'll see what I can do.

Roy

Yes quite a few, the problem is they get their bearings from Timkin or QH, which I've had problems with in the past.
I've found SKF bearings to be more reliable so would prefer to go with them (probably some brand loyalty there, but they do seem to make better bearings. We tend to use them at work due to a higher reliability than some other makes)
