Where is a good place to get some stainless steel welded. My usual source of such jobs has got no stainless wire. I need 2 off 2" pipes welded into some plates. They're cut and assembled ready to go so it's only a 10 minute job.

Ride around a local industrial estate, look for the likely candidates, most fabricators engineering firms will have TIG welding gear, if you have a tig welder 99.9% have stainless rods.
