I went to fit my track rod extenders and bugger me...they actually make the trackrods to long

The simplest solution is to shorten the track rods on the rack and rethread the arms further down so that with the track rod extenders inplace the width is pefect...

Hower...After driving round some of the local toolshops and garages nowhere has an M14 die to do the job...

So my question is...does anyone have one they would loan out or sell me?

I was really looking forwards to being able to drive the car out of the garage tommorw, but its kinda hard with no steering....

Erm.... could you not cut the extenders down if the threads go deep enough into them?

I looked into that but the threads in the extenders dont go deep enough...

Will they take an M14, the rods have rolled threads so you may be too narrow for the die.
