I thought that £5 plus postage was a bit much to be honest... I was hoping for a locost solution.... (they are that price from Rally Design)
Cheers anyway
You could make your own, but you already contributed to the thread that tells you how.

I'd guess you are after something like this but
screwfix at least don't sell ones big enough for your application.

Mac#1 supplied mine.
a cheeper option for joining 32mm tube ive used copper solder ring straight connectors (or Tee's) 28mm copper pipe fittings have an external diameter of about 31mm and 15mm ones will do for 5/8" pipework
Look under the bonnet of a Rover 75
Get down to B&Q and have a look at aerial mounting poles. Ally tube sold in straight lengths and 90deg bends. Not sure if you'd save a
great deal over a supplier like CBS though.
I can vouch for the quality and service from CBS for these pipes too - quick, inexpensive and they work.

I got a 32mm one for £3.70 all in. 38mm also available

PS for joiners etc, I tend to use Bryn @ Allyfab. He'll also make up custom joiners for not too much (e.g. 3 into 1 etc)
To post a follow up to this.....
The Pond plastic joiner did a sterling job for 18 months.... then yesterday gave way in a spectacular fashion tearing appart and dumping all my fluid
on the road.
should have scrimped on that bit i guess!
off out now to buy some proper ally joiners from walker rubber and plastics (expensice option but i need them in a hurry for stafford!)
Alloy TV pole and bends.
Bake the beads at the end to stop the clips sliding off under pressure.
Use an "Plumbeasy Oyster Plumbing Pliers" from B&Q (Not all stores stock them, so do a stock check)>
Just start the beads either side of the seam weld to prevent you ending up with a bead right on the weld.
