DONT TELL "CLAIRETOO" WE DONT WANT TO BE PUTTING MORE IDEAS IN HER HEAD!

"Only" 167bhp from one of these, and gearboxes that fit are expensive (S-Type jag or late MX5 IIRC). A tuned 4 pot Zetec would likely work out cheaper overall.

£200
You must be joking - I've just picked up another 1.8 V6 for mine , cost the same £50 as every V6 I've bought

"This engine has only done 34000 miles"

Must be some kind of longevity record for a TVR engine

1.8 V6? Mitsubishi??

Sounds ideal. Do you have any pictures?

flibble - 12/2/10 at 06:32 PM

MX-3 I'd imagine?, I'd also muuuch rather have the 2.5v6 from the MX-6/probe than the ford item.

The probe was a ford??

With a mazda engine (amongst other things)
I really really wish I'd gone with that engine now , dohh!

Very tight engine. I drove the 24V V6 and it almost accellerated and decellerated in time with my right foot! - like an electric motor!
