I've bid as well, whats the reserve?

elitewiring - 8/5/04 at 10:09 AM

the reverse is a quaife one, which i was told was an uprated item which came from zcars via luego (how im not sure). it has a proffessionally made oil breather tank mounted on top. i know there has been some questions raised about mechanical reverse units but this has been used with no problems at all. i personally would fit a mechanical unit if i was building another car now.
thanks for looking matt.

No. I asked what is the R E S E R V E not how does it go backwards!!!

sorry, having spent poo loads of time listing the spec on ebay, ive got it on my mind.
it kind of defeats the point to tell you what the reserve is, then you only bid that amount,
anyhow the cars worth about £8000, and the reserve is less than that.
it really is a well engineered car, and built to a very high standard. ill be sorry to see it go, (so much i might have to build another if the wife lets me!!!!)
thanks matt.

MK-R1 - 10/5/04 at 01:08 AM

It doesn't really defeat the point as even if I put 10,000 as my bid it would only submit the lowest possible amount i can get the car for.

I was just looking for a figure to decide if I should keep a look on the auction.

elitewiring - 10/5/04 at 11:56 AM

if i tell you the reserve is £5000 that will effect how much you bid, when really the cars worth much much more.
the reserve is the minimum amount i would let the car go for if im really desperate for the money.
