What's the general consensus on this un??

Hi all, looking for the collective wisdom (again...)

I've been looking at the following Indy for sale (sorry, can't link off phone):

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=180676122734&index=5&nav=SEARCH&nid=81545587299

Bearing in mind the advert contradicts itself as to whether it's a 1.8 or 2.0 pinto, looks like honest john the car dealer hasn't got a clue, however I'm thinking winter project, drop in a 2.0 duratec, black bonnet with bulge an we could have a nice example!

Started the haggling through email at 5k.. Reasonable, or am I mad???

Thoughts appreciated - thanks as always!!

Mark

Well the fact that it states 2.0l in the text but 1.8 in the title and the description table would get me asking him why straight away! Be careful.

It states in the ad that it cost over £11,000 to build, which I find difficult to believe reading the spec......... Or maybe prices have increased dramatically since we built ours.

5k, too much. There are safer bets out there. Short and simple answer.

If your looking to change the motor and for a bit of a project there is a Locost on ebay for £2000 with a 1.6 cvh motor.
ITEM NO 160655907297 listed in "everything else" category.
