Anyone tried these track tyres
chicade - 23/8/13 at 06:47 PM

Has anybody tried these on a 7 style car I believe they do 2 different compounds and I have heard very good things about them..spoke to one guy at blyton last week who was running them on a very well sorted 450+bhp scooby and he said they where equally as good as the 888 he used to run if not better and half the price!!

I've never seen them before but had standard NS2 on the daily 307 and they were shite. They seemed to grip but wore out too fast at the same time.

These are a totally new breed and not to be under estimated by the sounds of things as I said few people I have spoken to at cadwell and blyton all rated them ......

i had nangkang tyres on a car i bought before (BMW 328) and they were total guff.
fine in the dry, but anything slightly moist was just plain dangerous and twitchy

wouldn't waste the money on them tbh

If they are that good then give them a try and let us know what you think.

We have nankang ns2 ultrasport on the back of the z3. Seem Ok though the z3 is massively over tyred so hard to judge, but despite my best efforts they haven't killed me yet.

Edit - just clicked the link and seen they are quite a different tyre.
