Evidently this aircraft has been knocking around for a while in the for sale adds, its heavilly coroded and said to be worth about £5000 as scrap.

john_p_b - 2/11/04 at 07:14 PM

surely for £7,500,000 you could easily buy one that still flys and the RAF might even let u drop a couple of bombs on iraq for that price!?!

bob - 2/11/04 at 08:23 PM

I've been informed there are two of these in circ for sale, one is scrap and the other is the only one capable of getting anywhere near certification for the air, prob the 7.5million one me thinks.
british aerospace (or whats left of it) have offered to give up all the spares they carry to the purchaser(evidently)

Peteff - 3/11/04 at 12:32 AM

£6,000,099 on my screen. I got bumped. I might stick a late bid in. The present high bidder has a history of two items, two pairs of jeans at £13 and £30. Serious or what?

mookaloid - 3/11/04 at 11:31 AM

Price back down to sensible £13k,

Now where would I put it?.............
