these are 1.8td's, which have, as far as i know, a 3.92 diff (no guarantees though).

Its the much older 2.3d that has the good diffs

thought i could rely on you joel, sierra smasher extrordinair

oh yes, and but of course i stand corrected

Mmmmmm - 3.92 - I'm gonna need one of those - did they come as an LSD in anything?

JoelP - 18/8/05 at 04:09 PM

pay attention at the back!

3.92 LSD is the standard rear diff for all 2 litre 4x4s

3.92 you dont know how the tag goes do you. ie AA 392-----008

JoelP - 18/8/05 at 07:31 PM

no idea! but the aa and 392 are right, the rest is random to me. Anyone know what it all means?!

bob - 18/8/05 at 08:32 PM

I think the tag should have a letter "D" stamped on it to denote 3.92.

Best place to check this is rhocar the robin hood site,so i've been told

JoelP - 18/8/05 at 08:37 PM

the D would be in box 10 on the vin plate, title 'axle pt ar'
