That's a bargain!!!

I bought a similar one from Srewfix at the full price two years ago and whilst not the most accurate machine it did a huge amount of work building my extension. partitioning, carcassing, skirtings, architraves, dado's, flooring and still going strong.

Two new blades since but I've not fitted the spare bushes for the motor yet.

Was a good deal at the full price.

i wish id read that before i too searched the entire site looking for a 205x18mm bore cutting disc! They dont seem to sell an abrasive disc that will fit it, so i emptied my trolley

Ahhhh - that's a shame - still, I only need it for cutting wood ....

i think its too slow for a grinding disk?

Peteff - 21/2/06 at 07:56 PM

My 14" abrasive saw doesn't go that fast. You could get a spacer to take the disk centre bore down but 9" disks would be too big for it.

I got one ,turned up a new spacer, modded the guard and fitted a 9inch cutoff wheel.
Saved hours of hacksawing

the clark chop saw in machine mart is 2.2kw and only around £50 i think - the extra power will be noticed!

looking at the website i think ive remembered the price wrong though!
