Eh, does he mean he has a 2.5L pinto??? Bit advertureous for a boat anchor isn't it?

JackNco - 18/11/06 at 11:04 PM

Originaly 2L? thats one hell of a big increase!

mookaloid - 18/11/06 at 11:06 PM

you would think that if he really had something as special as a 2.5 Litre pinto he would take the trouble to explain it - sonds like a load of Horse droppings to me..........

I thought that as well when I saw it earlier, 0 feedback put me off as well.

It is possible to take a pinto out to 2.5 litres by using the max overbore of 93mm and an increased crank stroke. The inside of the block needs to be fettled away to clear the big end caps.

Damn expensive...

Yeess, reading that ad made my bullshit detectors' gauge needle go full scale deflection!
The Millington Diamond, a heavily reworked atmo Cosworth YB motor, was 2.5 litre and made 350 BHP. Mind you, for £14,000 for a brand-new one you'd flippin' well want it to!
