I've got one on it's way, mine was £59.99 delivered

I dropped my PDA last week (had tomtom on there) so bought this as you can install Tomtom on it.

I'll do a review once it's arrived

BTW to get one for £49.99 you need to log on to the site first...

Was going to order on for my daughter’s birthday present but I’ve registered and logged in and it’s showing £69.99 now

Am I doing something wrong or have they put the price up?

Cheers Dave...

I recommend watching the video. Shame the spotty oik in maplin never looks that pretty!

I was tempted to buy one of these when they were £80, now down to £50 its an absolute bargain. I just don't need one, but I want to but it anyway.

Must Be Strong...

My cheapo sat-nav arrived today, the software installed is something called "TurboDog". Anyway, 5 minutes after switching it on I'd installed the "Tomtom" software with no problems [1].

Seem great, connects to 10-12 satellites and updates much quicker than my PDA, the screen is a decent size with suprisingly decent colour/brightness, touch screen works OK.

All in all, I reckon a bargain

[1] If anyone buys one with the intention of installing tomtom, you need the installed files from a PDA, which I have if you need 'em

For some strange reason its now showing it at £49.99 so just ordered on before it changes again

What’s the original software like I noticed the free download to get full postcode searching,
Is the tom tom software that much better to be worth changing it?

I suppose it's whatever you're used to, I'm used to tomtom

I have the original SD card, I just installed tomtom on another card, I might give the TurboDog software a chance one day
