Quick lift jack plans

I built one from pics on google images just guessing the dims and mine works perfick!

I am more than happy to measure mine and write up a cutting list if needed?

How/where are you intending to use your Q/L jack?
A plank and a brick along with someone to stand on the end of the plank/lever would work.
I've wondered about a simple device, basically just your handle + pair of wheels at the fulcrum (lower pivot) and a floppy plate at the upper pivot, the plate to be laid against the underside of the car. To use, locate the floppy plate, lower the handle and roll the wheels under the car til it over-centres - i.e. the weight of the load is on the handle side of the wheels.

So you're basically talking about a motorcycle paddock stand. I guess it would work well enough on a lighter se7en (BEC) but the pick up point would need to be wide enough to be stable/safe enough to work under.

Hello,

i will lift the car from the front.
So a model as Steve Hignett 's picture will be nice because i need to pass under the front splitter to arrive under the chassis.

The back of the car is more accessible and i can use a standard jack until i have made the rear diffuser.

So Steve, any plan or detailled picture will be welcome.

this last picture is for rear lift jack.

I would appreciate receiving some plans or pictures with dimensions for a front lift model as shonw by Steve.

Hey Gerardo,

Someone's stolen my quicklift (only to copy and make one for himself! ) - once it's back I will:

measeure it for you
write a cutting list
take a photo
label each part
write a description for making one yourself.

Might not be for a couple weeks, but will definitely do it...
