Claire's been showing off again...
iti_uk - 8/3/10 at 09:59 AM

So, I needed an exhaust welding together. Claire had bought a TIG, and with barely two evenings' practice, this is the result...

Piccy1
Piccy2
Piccy3

(Not shown - also did the mid-pipe. All stainless. Lovely!)

Thanks Claire!

Nearly done now...

Chris

I think they are too small lol 1x1 pixels!!!

MikeR - 8/3/10 at 10:26 AM

Thanks for the pics Unc ..... typical of Clares work - cheap, shoddy and amaturish!

(which will probably get me punched tonight if she comes to the pub meet!)

Seriously, looking very nice as usual.

eddie99 - 8/3/10 at 10:30 AM

Claire's awesome

MikeR - 8/3/10 at 06:42 PM

I think we may need a fan club! Perhaps Chris can run it alongside the locostbuilders site with Fozzie doing admin and occasional guest stints.

Hmmm, what would the title be? LocostWomen?

I think a picture of you was posted a while back - but you were wearing a crash helmet and leathers, and just launching off the start line on a drag bike!

Met claire a couple of times at the ashby folville meets.

Awesome soundtrack as she left the Only dry one we went to.

Ask her about the Figure 11 skid marks outside the cricket club The crowd was very appreciative.

Agreed claire does some awesome stuff too.

MikeR - 10/3/10 at 11:11 PM

me too - although the last time i met her i felt the very urgent and strong need to remove all sharp objects from her reach!!!!

Don't upset that woman or she'll tig your ass!

.... waddya mean..... 'occasional guest stints' ...

Locost Women... ?!?! ..... ... I think NOT!

I've not been in to practice my TIG (Lincoln Inverter) since we moved workshops after the fire ......but now the new place is up and running and the insurance is all sorted, that will change this year ..... .....

All the time... I mean all the attention I get is overwhelming....
...
wait... that must have been a dream.

How sad. Lol.

What a tangetial thread...!?!

MikeR, don't worry, my ass is not for TIG-ing. Although viewing with a welding mask is recommended - the light shining there really is that intense....
