I have one of the arc welded and IMO its fine for the money, certainly been useful for me.

Have to admit that it doesnt work for me...

I like the look of the silcion remover tool although ive never had an issue with using a kitchen knife if it worked well it would be usfull. Never had much experence with cheap gensets, but I can help feeling that unless you where in a rush that a second hand mid-spec one would outperform a cheap new one.
