Orbital sanders ?

Hi all i am looking at getting some orbital air sanders they MUST BE VERY LOW VIBRATION as they will be used a lot [ within the
--------------------------------
recommendation times ]
What can people recommend and what do you use
Make / Model please and if you can price This is not for home use its work use

air or electric..

all my 6 inchsanders are super stork with a mini desouza.. my electric one is for animal style sanding for growling the worst off.. my air is super smooth and light and very nimble... same as the mini desouza just smaller..

whats the job?

Air orbital sanders need a very big compressor. We use electric at work instead. All our painters swear by them. Not cheap though.http://www.mirkadustfreesanding.co.uk/product.html

i run mine off a 3hp compressor no problem...

if your about to sand and paint a bus/ coach then you must have a manly compressor.. not one of those 50 quid things from wolf or s.i.p..

Don't worry about the compressor its a BIG vane
we already prpare and paint buses in fact about 400 to look after i am just looking to get some new sanders

I'd bet it's not what I'd consider big, but there again I've worked with *BIG* compressors - biggest was rated 49 bar inlet pressure, 69 bar outlet, 1,200,000 Nm3/hr and was driven by a 24,000 hp gas turbine! The smallest I've worked with was driven by a 330kW motor!
