Anyone able to do some water jetting?

Since Andyw7de can no longer offer one off water jetting, is there anyone else on here who can?

We need some flanges cut for the turbo for our Bonneville project and I'd rather have them water jet than cut them by hand. There's 5 flanges to cut in both stainless and aluminium.

Anyone with any recommendations?

Hi David,

Have you tried Polar or Optima in Kings Lynn? or there is Mill stainless in Wisbech.

They don't water jet but they all have laser cutters.

Mill Stainless now have water jet cutting.

Laser is typically much faster (and so cheaper) than water, but typically limited to approx 25mm thick for steel.

Water typically gives a cleaner cut and can go much thicker with a wider range of materials e.g. stone

We use a combination laaer/punch machine for sheet metal parts. This allows complex profiles to be mixed with repetitive features such as Louvres and fixing holes.
