A nice set of decent wood chisels and a Trend sharpening system to go with them. Mind you I've also got a list of jobs to do as well

Dick Axtell - 26/12/14 at 03:35 PM

Gotta electric file, v highly recommended by a welder I know, who won't work without one.

However, I have been scheduled to fit new garage doors, sometime in the new year

Furyous - 4/1/15 at 08:21 PM

I got THESE tools.

They're about as useful as a chocolate teapot!

ReMan - 4/1/15 at 08:29 PM

Reciprocating saw for me.
Just tried it on a bit of scarp wood and it seems OK, ever so slightly less scary that the chainsaw

scutter - 4/1/15 at 10:23 PM

£90 of Halfords vouchers, shame as I asked if it was possible for them to get me an Alloy trolley jack, which Halfords don't sell. Popped into a store after Boxing day for 10 min and couldn't see anything I need!

ATB Dan.

SteveWalker - 4/1/15 at 10:29 PM

I suppose it counts as a tool - an original 50s rotary dial phone, modified for modern exchanges.

dubzter - 5/1/15 at 01:38 PM

I have a B&D powerfile, I always thought them as a 'nice to have' but it's turned out so useful I wouldn't be without it now. Putting a fishmouth into 19mm tube was so easy with the powerfile. And they clean up welds so much better than a flap disc on a grinder.

James - 5/1/15 at 06:21 PM

Makita sliding mitre saw

Haven't used it properly yet but looking forward to when I do!
