I tried Hammerite matt textured today I now see the brand is owned by Dulux -- it is a big change from the old fashioned Finnegans Hammerite Hammered finish.

First of all I brushed a small area --- results not good leaves bad brush marks even when thinned.

Next I tried spraying it --- results first class it sprays and covers really well at 4 parts paint to 3 of Hammerite thinners. Only fault was it is not as forgiving of careless surface prep as I expected.
I cleaned the gun easily using ordinary gun wash thinners which just would have made a sticky mess the old tradditional product.
