mig liner?

heard about these teflon liners for me mig and also vaguely heard that pedal-iron brake cables fit? is this true? tis a sip mig 150t.
if they are the same size ill give em a go cos the liner in mine needs a change desperately!

Why not get the genuine stuff? It's not that expensive...

Ive got the same machine. replaced mine with a steel item and it made a big differance. It does look like a bike cable Teflon item is dearer maybe its better still. The steel linear ment you could hold the torch at any angle and it would still feed fine. The cheap plastic item would make it spit and fart unless it was absolute straight.

The plastic ones wear a groove which pinches the wire, the teflon ones do the same but after a much greater time scale

my whole welder is getting aged, the torch is in pieces again. I dont mind having to strip it and fix it, but twice in a day is getting too much...

sound ill order the proper one then, wasnt aware you get get em especially.
think mine probably has more grooves than a 70s disco by now cos i havent changed it in about 2 years!
