Anyone have access to Mill/Lathe and can weld ali?

As above really - does anyone own or have access to a mill/lathe and can weld ali in the Yorkish area?

I want to get the centre of my sierra wheel turned down and welded to either an ali plate or the ali adapter plate for my Westy steering wheel.

Beer tokens awaiting!

Cheers Wadders!

This is what I'd like to do (roughly):

you might want to do the nice helpers a favour and cut out the big lump of steel cast into the sierra center

I wasn't aware of a lump of steel in there.

Naturally I'd get everything as far as I could before any machining (without going too far and making a complete @rse of it, of course!)

The steel is the supports for the spokes of the wheel, not cast though.

I made this up from the sierra wheel boss (removed) and fabricated adaptor to mate upto my mountney wheel Rescued attachment Boss.jpg
