Where to buy a rivet gun on a Sunday?
TimC - 19/7/08 at 06:02 PM

My rivet gun is U/S.

I blame Fesycresy for smashing it with a hammer but anyway, I have riveting to do and I need one tomorrow.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Local Screwfix can't get one until Tuesday. Halfords doesn't have one. Can't find one on B&Q website. Not looking good...

Ask Fesycresy to borrow his?

tom windmill - 19/7/08 at 06:29 PM

Our local B&Q do a good Stanley rivet gun, wouldn't bother with a Halfords one though, i work there and think there crap. maybe other people have had better experiences though?

Not a lot of good to you but we have in Cambridge a really good tool and hardware shop thats open on a Sunday . Do you have anything like that in your neck of the woods?

Richard Quinn - 19/7/08 at 07:14 PM

B&Q don't list many hand tools on their site. I got a Stanley one from our local one the other week.

ebay I paid £26 for a new air/hydrolic one and its worth every penny but you'd have to weight!

Any good motor factors.

Maplins...
Otherwise as said B+Q do them just not via the on-line database....

Try drilling the holes the right size this time, then you won't have to twat it with a hammer

Those Woolworths tools don't take much of a beating do they
