i have a serial port to USB adapter for my MS that requires a driver, i got a disc for it but i can't find it. the driver is on one laptop and i want it on another, is it possible to transfer the driver from one laptop to the other using a storage device, there is no branding on the adapter so i don't know where to download a driver from the net.

im sorry i forgot to add the laptop that i want to put the driver on is not on the internet

have you tried plugging it in and letting your laptop search the web for the driver?

^ that should work

to put it on one of those USB thingys to transfer it, you need to know exactly which drivers you're looking for (the .dll files) and copy them over. may need other things, so in short yes, but not easily.
