A friend asked me to look at her pc to see if I could work out why it kept shutting itself down (among other things)

...well I've seen worse

we had one in the workshop running a CNC machine, they asked me to look at it one day when it wouldn't go - turned out it had 5" of grinding dust inside it and it was soaking wet

www.theregister.co.uk have a section of the site devoted to this! Kills me everytime i open a case and its inches thick with dust. So much so i am punishing users these days and fining them with cake!

I had to fix one that was near the 'Quavers' chrips production line, had about 2 inches of grease and dust in it

The fan on missus's one appears to work the wrong way so every few months I have to take it off and unclog the heatsink...
