ok clever people,i bought some speakers for my compo,they work fine but there is a constant buzz buzz buzz.
any idea why and how to get rid of it?
they are USB powered not mains if that makes any difference

got a cordless house phone next to them?
my mates do that. he's got a set of alesis active studio monitor speakers, and his phone right next to them, and they keep going buzz buzz buzz buzz, not buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, weirdly it stops if you put an empty glass between them...

My computer buzzes every time I am about to get a text message, kind of ruins the surprise

My daughter used to freak her friends out by telling them when there mobile phone was about to ring.
She's got digital hearing aids now and can't do the trick.

or you aint plugged em in fully in back of sound card.

mine does it if i dont fully insert the 3.5mm jack into the sound card.
