Recently upgraed the ram on my pc but around the same time the sound disappeared. Says it has no sound devices installed.
Would there be something on the old ram thats not on the new ones that would cause this or have i popped something.

Is the sound on board or via a separate sound card?

On board

might have dislodged a jumper connection...

try checking in the bios if it has somehow become disabled
