Does sound like a scam just delete it...
Scam. they should at least know your name
[Edited on 6/9/12 by deltron63]
Almost certainly a scam, but you might as well check, type www.paypal.com into your browser and log in that way.
go into your pay pal count as usual and see whether there is anything amiss
If in doubt copy and paste a few lines into google. It will quickly come up on the Paypal user forums as a scam.
scam. whatever other PayPal may have, they should know your name and be able to write sentences in English
A genuine Paypal e-mail will ALWAYS address you by your name. Anything else is bogus.
Thought as much - Bar Stewards!
If you are on Hotmail, any time you are unsure about an email just right-click on the message and select 'View message source'. This will
enable you to see what's actually in the mail without opening it. Always handy if the mail contains any nasty things!
And as all above said, SCAM! Best way is to login as Staple Balls said to try it.
HTH
Very Scam, I get 3 away
Interesting that the link you posted is good on here.
GBut I bet if you hover over it on your PC it shows a link that is different from Paypal dot com in the status bar (IE)
"Dear PayPal client"
got as far as that and knew it was a scam... i can't believe people still need to ask tbh
they will send you your own name, and if you're still not sure, put your mouse over the paypal link, and in the bottom corner of your browser,
you'll see the actual link it points to, and it won't be paypal...
