Help some of my Word documents have somehow turned themselves into INDD files whatever thay are?

I cant open them with word anymore

Any ideas anyone?

they are InDesign extensions. have you installed in recently?

I used to have In design but it was a <cough> hooky <cough> copy and when my macine crashed i didnt have the disk to replace it.

That would explain why my computer cant find anything to open it with either.
