Is anybody aware of an image reducing program that can be downloaded FOC. Failing that can somebody suggest a reasonable priced one to purchase.

5th up, on the right hand side, "image resizer"
Works very well, just highlight one or more pics, right click and you're away.

Most digi camera software will allow you to resize images.

The page in this link says "PowerToys only work with U.S. English regional settings" - is that true, or is it OK with UK regional settings?
Photoshop is by far the best. You can buy just the disc (older versions) for very little money. Look on ebay or Computer shopper magazine. Also Paint shop pro is quite good and again can be picked up cheap. Infact i may have version 5 going cheap (if i can find it!!)

For batches of images, I use Paintshop Pro....
I bought Photoshop elements, £30.
It does everything that I can cope with,
and more besides.
