Vector Images

Need to create a vector image for printing. I want to get some t-shirts and other stuff done on www.spreadshirt.net and to print on anything but white and grey, you need to upload a vector image.

I have created a logo and converted the text to curves, do i need to convert all the image so it is just outlines? Could i do this by just drawing around all the shapes and filling them in white, or is there a special way to do it to convert them to vectors?

Alot of the image is solid thick lines and shapes, will these print ok?

Anyone know about vector images?

What have you drawn it in. Corel and similar are vector drawing packages, your drawing is built up in layers not all on a single plane.

If they are bitmaps (.jpg, .bmp etc) How high a resolution are they? Quite often a decent quality embedded bitmap will print OK...

Ive used Photoshop, i have image ready as it comes with PS, apart from that no other imaging software. Im getting a copy of Adobe Illustrator as we speak as i was told i could use that.

Being in photoshop its made up of different layers, its a high res PSD file at the moment.
