wmv mpg compresser

Hi all,

I need a video file compresser, anyone got any good 'free' ones. i need to compress a .wmv file to stick on utube.

If its wmv's you can use windows media encoder (google it)

If its any other format, I either use STOIK (again google it) which lets you convert one format to another as long as you have the codecs.

Just tried Nero Recode (free) seems to work well. Converted a DVD to MPEG4 in about 15 mins to play on pocket PC.
