.. and hi-risers, latest car pimping styre from US.

basiaclly involves slapping your car on the most ridulucous sized hweels imamginable, the bigger, the better, or so it seems.

MautoK - 22/4/09 at 09:38 PM

Or like this?

clairetoo - 22/4/09 at 10:02 PM

That's one way of sorting the diff ratio problem for the BEC boys

MikeRJ - 23/4/09 at 08:17 AM

Wow, it took some real innovation to come up with a scheme to make their lardy old barges handle even more poorly!

Mr Whippy - 23/4/09 at 08:58 AM

hmm how to look an idiot by spending loads of money

getting so tired of the custom car scene, no new ideas other than stupid ones, seems all the real creative talent is long gone

cd.thomson - 23/4/09 at 09:12 AM

i have an idea about this, its called the carry coutré theory and is loosely based on the golden rule of biological flow of information which goes:

DNA <-- --> RNA --> PROTEIN

Here the flow of information moves from DNA to RNA to protein, but there is some "back flow" where RNA can transmit some information back to DNA (dont worry if this is gobbledegook).

The carry coutré theory goes something like this:

chavs/ghetto gangstas <-- --> carricutures --> real people

Mr Whippy - 23/4/09 at 09:47 AM

low intelligence + drink---> tasteless stupid idea ----> sheep follow

look at this, it looks like a flippin clown circus car Can you believe someone spent a fortune on that mess and then showed the world what they'd done

iank - 23/4/09 at 09:52 AM

The seem to be taking inspiration from hot-wheels toys. Very cool stuff - if you're 8.

MautoK - 23/4/09 at 12:33 PM

What was he thinking?

If you've going to do that jacked-up look, at least put a normal car on top of a proper 4x4 chassis like a Rangie! - not really to my taste, but at least it would be able to do something as well as look odd!

02GF74 - 24/4/09 at 07:41 AM

each to their own I guess...... I wonder if the donkers look at a 7 and wonder why anyone wold want to sit so low in a brick shaped tub with a hairdryer engine??

(that should work you all up into a Friday Frenzy!!)

RickRick - 24/4/09 at 07:47 AM

good job there's not too many twisties in the the states, or there'd be a lot of tipped over "donkers" everywere

Is that 'Donkers' or 'Donkeys'?

I can just imagine the Chavs over here thinking it'll be a good idea sticking 30 inch rims on his Saxo Chaviot.

1st one to spot one, and takes a picture of it, gets a free pint of beer from me (Conditions apply).

Is one of the conditions that you don't actually ask for the pint?

We don't have the cool cars you do, so people make things out of what they have. Invariably, somebody over there thinks a badly handling tank would be a good idea in your country. Witness the fascination for Mustangs etc, that are good for two things: a dragstrip and draining your bank account.
