Is it my imagination or is this site getting to be full of smut?
we have seen jokes on penises, pictures of pensises, and other stuff that isnt car related.
i can perve with the best of em, but I for one dont come on here to see tits and dicks - the other 99.999999999% of the internet does that.
Is it time to clean up the act, or do we sink into getyertitsout.com mentality?
we have at least 2 members aged 14 and 16 on here.

It is true...there has been a fair bit recently. But then there was none for a long time.
Theres nothing wrong with a little IMO, but you have to draw the line somewhere (i dont know where that line should be though)

At the end of the day, the admin will decide worthiness of a post and we all have common sense. If it's allowed and someone doesn't want to
see it, they needn't look. Censorship is not our choice - it's down to the person(s) running the site. I'm not sure Luego would approve
of anything offesive though.

i havnt seen any thing yet in this section that has upset me,when it does i simply wont look in it any more just incase i cant trust my self to click
on a link, or may be id best get my mum to check all posts to make sure there suitable before i look for my self.ffs my little cousin sends me more

maybe if the poll had more options i might take a vote,i dont think you should be able to post what you like but i dont think you should cut the smut

chrisw only rarely intervenes in posting, it would have to be seriously extreme for him to remove it. or someone would have to complain.
also, most of the shite is off site, and via the mad house section. The day people start posting smut on the forum direct i too will complain, cos

Well said Joel. IF someoe posted Hardcore I'd be the first to say it's innapropriate but the odd boobie (If clearly marked NOT WORK SAFE) is not going to mentally scar anyone for life. I've seen worse on the beach on holiday!!!

Im with you on this Steve. Leave the site for locost's. This site works and is very well self-regulated IMHO. I read PPC cos it is informative,
if i want porn i can buy from the top shelf. This site should be no different. An 18+ section will promote smut rather than control it.
Im all for a bit of smut at times but dont believe it has a place on this site.

is it me or can you find more explicit/rude/sick stuff in daily newspapers, FHM, Zoo type mags etc… you don’t read them for the dodgy stiff its just there for some light humour
the mad house section is 1 out of twenty and its a place to share stuff with the friends youv made on this site, i dont thnk iv seen smut posted any

One of the other forums(turbosport.co.uk) have a mens room for the smut/porn,seems to work ok.
At least if your in the mens room you know why your there although turbosport go one further for some reason and have a section called top tottie
as well.

I agree with getting rid of the smut
as it seems we have a lot of minors on here
and the internet can provide all of the "perfs" as much as they like without clogging up a "car related site"
I'm maybe a bit old fashioned, but I look on the site as being like a genuine real life club. You wouldn't tell a juicy joke / story at a
club night if there was an under 16 listening in.
The various under 16s who post may come across as mature beyond their years, but they are still minors and for as long as they are in here it's
maybe best if we respect that fact. As I'm sure their parents / guardians would wish.

firstly, im not religious. I started this thread. I was merely pointing out that there seemed to be an 'explosion' in 'smut' on
here recently. Being in the sad position of highest poster, and 3 years service, it seemed particularly noticable to me. I was asking if others felt
that perhaps things were going a little too far.
secondly, read the sexuality thread again. I think it was me 'popping' at hippy. If you dont have a life, take a greater look at posts
between hippy and me, and you will see that we have always had freindly pops at each other - even an avatar war once! He did take me a bit too
seriously at one point, and i apologised off line. Ive met hippy in real life, and we occasionally chat on messenger. hes a nice guy. as far as i
remember, he did leave cos of frustration with his lack of time to build, getting unemployed, getting a job, whatever.
simply put, hippy wasnt chased off.
but i do wonder if posting borderline porn might have that effect on others.
There was a post a while back that a younger person on here couldnt acess the site from school cos their porn filter saw this site as such. Also, for
those looking from work in their lunch break, clicking on something unexpected could be job threatening - people dont always mention not work safe.
Since I have my new job, I dont access this site from work any more.
our corporate server is based in switzerland and is likely monitored.
a final point......
there isnt any such thing as free speech. There are any numbers of things that I could say on here (as could you) that would put you in a court of
law. There are limits of waht you can say ina free society - ask abu hamsa. 'free speech' is a matter of personal taste. if a homosexual
member decided to post a video of his favorite butt banging video, then thats legal, if over 18. And irt would be free speech. and i expect the vast
majority of the members of this site would go nuts in indignation over it.

This site is about cars, or was once upon a time! That is what brought us all together, our mutual interest!
The fact that many share other interests and/or perversions together is not really relevant to this site.
Adding the Madhouse section was as I saw it quite acceptable as long as it stays within the realms of the rest of the site. For the purpose of sharing
humorous stories and jokes that can be viewed by anyone. Subtle innuendos can be accepted to a degree, but blatent porn is just too dangerous.
Surely a link to another site would be better than cutting and pasting pictures onto this site. This at least puts the responsibility onto the person
clicking the link and enables this site to work within the limits of server checking for work places and school/colleges.
Like steve I'm not religious, but that doesn't mean I have to have no morals either!
My computer is in the dining room and my kids often watch over my shoulder when I'm browsing this site. Why should I have to limit my viewing
