Any thoughts on how/where a gt style screen may be built/obtained.

I thinking plastic/perspex. and probably $$$$$$

Don't use perspex as it can shatter, think the stuff is called lexan that you need.

You'd need a big oven for one of those!

Lexan is a type of polycarbonate. Margard is what you are looking for, a Polycarbonate less prone to scratching.

AFAIK you can't bend Magard due to the scratch resistant coating.

A Stratos or Ultima screen would be favourite (cheapest to build the car around an existing screen) though you can get short runs of proper glass ones made but you may need to sell a kidney.
