NO! not me!
girl at work got a new car last month, birds went to town over it a few days in a row, she went to wash it herself, it didn't really come off, so
she used the scouring pad side of the sponge... is she likely to have gone through the laquer? i don't think so. said i'd have a look.
would a quick going over with the finest wet and dry (wet, with soap?) get the worst out then polish with t-cut? would that work do we think?
it will probably just t cut out maybe a light compounding before the t cut then a gos resin based polish
2000 Wet and Dry, wet, with soap, very lightly, then Farecla, or T Cut.
Tell her to use a brillo pad next time, that'll really knacker it!
I know a guy who washed his car with a brilo pad. Only stopped when his dad caught him - one panel "washed" .

when my daughter first learnt to write she wrote her name on the side of my car with a stone , we left it on and kept the car for years , she had got right through the paint to bare metal
wet sanding is ALOT of work, i would suggest using a machine polisher, DA or Rotary with a cut polish and finish with a lighter compound.

Whilst she might not have gone thru the clear coat, rubbing hard with TCut she might.
