Hi all where's the best place to buy a aero screen for my Indy like the one they sell at carbon mods?
I like that one but seems a bit pricy.
what about the mk one? its on the large side but i quite like em!
there on ebay for about £35!
Make one its simple enough, some people use the Mac 1 screen on the indy.
I'm not keen on the MK one and have a Perspex one ATM but want something a little more aerodinamic,I have look on the bay but can't find them anyone have the link?
If it is perspex, then I am pleased that you are changing it. Perspex can shatter in a nasty fashion.
I used 4mm lexan (tradename for polycarbonate). This is nice to cut and doesn't shatter.
The only problem is that you can't heat form it (as an amateur) as it needs drying in an oven first (otherwise it goes cloudy from internal
bubbles). Although it bends well enough.

theres a bloke who makes them to order on the Tiger owners website
im having one
£25 i think
After much thinking, since my car is away for electrical/computer work, I have concluded that the aeroscreens are simply formed to the shape of the scuttle, and then a little depression or cutout is put in the middle (for the centre mirror). The whole thing is angled towards the nose, and then trimmed to suit. Doesn't look that hard to do, but 35 pounds looks like an amazing price.
