Has anyone made and fitted aluminium wing stays using ally tube, just wondered if they would be strong enough. If anyone has have you got any pictures.

Considering how often the steel ones break due to vibrations work-hardening the metal I doubt it would look that svelt if it was done (ie you'ld prob need some thick old ali to prevent it breaking).

done it, they lasted a matter of days before fracturing and we went back to steel
