Bend it round the back and sikaflex

Slater - 31/10/11 at 07:49 PM

I glued 4 bits of wood with sikaflex to the back of the nose cone, then used 4 screws and penny washers to fix the grill.

Is your car on the road ? if so do you have over heating problems ?
The reason i ask is i know 2 people that had problems with over heating they had mesh / grills like yours and as soon as they removed it the problem went away

+1

I had an expanded aluminium mesh (smaller mesh than shown in the picture) and my car would overheat in traffic queues. I now have a very open-weave mesh (woven stainless wire) and the problem's mostly gone away.

zip ties hold mine on. my grille is black and so is the nosecone and zips, so doesn't show.

not the car is not yet a runner but it should not be long i will keep that in mind if it over heats thanks.

I cut mine so it fitted in front, then wrapped the outside with U section rubber and cable tied in place.
