AGM WLR body fits on a seven chassis

This is what I am building at the moment

JWE Thruxton. It can be supplied as a full kit or a body to go over a 7 type chassis.

Give Jim Walker a ring on 01726 822 326

There is another member on here fitting a body to his 7 too. I will leave it up to him to post details.

Early stages at the moment.

MK HSR is likely what you saw. Looks odd IMO.
MK HSR

Striker has a couple of full bosy options, that I would imagine could be adapted to suit a locost chassis:

Fulcrum is a pretty sexy::

Phoenix also goes over the striker:

Didn't STM (ARIES) do a full body, I seem to think it morphed into the fury but I may be wrong.
Regards Denis.

Love the thruxton bodywork.
Can't find conclusively if it wiill fit over a haynes chassis.
Do they have prices for body only?

Thanks that's what I was looking for

rdodger - 20/2/12 at 02:49 PM

Yes it will fit.

Locost, MK, MAC#1, Westfield etc.

The body prices are available from Jim. Options of Lightweight or Roadspec.

Yes - for a while they had stewardship of the Sylva Pheonix which is now available from Raw...

Think they also had the Pulsar...not sure what happened to that body...

Hi, my first post here. My intention is to fit a Sammio body to an original Ron Champion frame, it'll be a Sammio Cordite body (not out the mould yet) with a lengthened bonnet, style to be confirmed choice of 3, deposite payed I've got my frame and axles and an ovh 1300 and gearbox in a rolling form. Still not sure about engine choice was thinking Bike at the mo got to finish the chassis, brakes steering column pedal box etc etc. I've already built a Sammio Spyder based on a 1300 hearld and thought "about these corners". I'll get used to the site and get some piccy's on and try and get a build blog started,,,,,,,,, PAT

Mmm, I'm definitely going to be interested in that. I like the look of the Sammio body, but I'd much prefer it on a 7 body than on their recommendation (Triumph Herald I think?).
