help and advice from mark allanson if possible
next dors kid had decided to spray his plastic pig bodywork today in a force 9 gale with gray etch primer.
unfortunatly for me he got overspray all over by motorbike, now for the crunch
the previous owner had a perlesent paint job done on it by dream machine. whicyh is now covered with grey blobs,
any ideas on getting it off or will it be an expensive for him paint job.
or should i just extract the price in blood.

Get the money first!!, does'nt etch primer eat into whatever it is sprayed onto?? cutting compound may lift it , but don'nt hold your breath. Hope you get it sorted O.K Rusty

What sort of etch was it?, try rubbing it with white spirit first, the etch is designed to give a good surface for the next coat, but it is very
delicate when exposed the the atmosphere or anything other than its designed top coat.
The next step is Farecla G3, brisk rubbing with mutton cloth may pull it off
Increase the stakes a bit, most pollies and pearls have at least 3 coats of clear over the top. You could try blocking with 2000 W&D using a soft
block, and polish back with G3
Autoglym Trade do a fallout remover, its basically oxallic acid which is good at lifting most stuff, and its safe - try getting hold of the AG rep,
they love a challenge and a chance to show off.
Let me know how you get on, a good machine mopping at a bodyshop may be the answer

I'd offer you some Farecla G3 - but I've put my tube in a safe place and can't find it!
I bought it in "Busy Bee Paints" on the Boss Hall estate in Ipswich - not too expensive.

It's funny that the victim has to do all the work to get his goods back to were they where before that idiot played a paint can.
I would'nt do anything about it and avoid the risk of doing more damage than good.
