So, for a long time I've had a good idea about what 'livery' I'd have on my racecar. Now, as it gets close to the time when I
need to get my wheels refurbished to match, I'm wavering. I'd therefore like some help deciding.
So, Plan A was a large Brown Stripe with a Small Orange Stripe - very unusual and retro but I saw it on a race support vehicle in New Zealand and it
looked awesome.
However, my powdercoat on the chassis didn't quite work out as planned and it's got a hint of green in it.

As a result, I'm now also considering the following options as well:
So, what's it to be? In the list above, the first colour is for the large stripe; the second is for the smaller one.
Brown / Orange... old-skool-retro-cool all the way!
What about
Green (BRG?)/Orange
and since I'm colour blind it would look the same as your original brown/orange idea to me, plus would blend with your chassis powder coating.
Orange and brown for me
Brown/Orange for me too, would look great!
Voted G/ G since you dont mention if you you have any planned blue bits on it. As your chassis ' appears' to have the hint of green, then go with that combo?. Speaking personally, any stripes on a car should be complimented elsewhere in/ on the car. I went for the old JPS Black / Gold scheme, bit boring possibly but I like it.
It's your car - make your own mind up
What about considering combining the two green strip option with the brown from your original thought in between the stripes. You could add the small orange stripe somewhere as well maybe, but the green and brown would be good I think.
