Often, when I go to a show, one thing sticks in my mind more than any other.
Stoneleigh today was no exception.
For me it was the Ali body on this car, in particular, the nosecone.
A picture paints a thousand words.

splitrivet pointed me in that direction but i never found it... amazing car. Any know who made it?
Yes Paul.
Nice car , very nice car.
Must take some polishing.
I was admiring this car today as well. What a work of art. I used to
work with a guy who worked wonders with ali, but this fella is quite simply a genius !
I should have got his name/etc to congratulate him in person, but alas, I didn't.
If you're out there Mr Ali, CONGRATULATIONS.....
It was flaming beautiful, the nose cone was made in 4 sections GAS WELDED.
Its what the guy does for a living tho.
Dont you just hate him.
Cheers,
Bob

Crikey - most impressed... amazing
I don't doubt the ability of some to produce such panels from AL (I worked with an old bloke in Somerset who could do all that and more), but this is an obvious shortcut here.
I was speaking to the chap that built it , and told him about this web site. I suggested he has a look in here and posts some pictures,as it was a
real special job.
He hadnt heard of this site but hopefully he will look in , maybe we should have had some flyers to hand out? worth remebering at future shows , we
could all print a few and leave with cars.
Paul.
If you like this aluminium seven, then have a look here
