I have a Luego with locost grp and having a bit of trouble fitting the custome rad (2" think) and the intercooler (2.5"thick) in the front. does anyone know of a bigger noes cone that will fit onto the chassis that i could then mod the bonnet to blend it into the locost bulkhead..

have you spoken to leugo? didn't they do different sizes of car, maybe a bigger car nose would fit.

I think the velocity bodywork will fit the locost chassis, its the same width but a bit taller, you will need to change the bonnet and scuttle to match tho!

yer i thought about the velocity grp but prefered the low look fo the locost grp. the original idea was a 1.6sigma

i was hopeing there would be a nosecone a tad deaper than the locost. that might fit from another company.

I take it you already have a nose cone, it's not that hard to alter. You need to cut the unit in the plane that you need more room, rivet, or PK, on some ally plates, (on the outside), just glass it up on the inside, remove the plates when set, bit of filler, coat, or two , of paint and job done. hth Ray

are you making your own bonet?

If you are just add the depth to the chassis rails which will push the nose out. Then make hte bonnet longer as needed.

Not a bad idea on extending it. i will probably have to mod the bonnet to allow for clearance anyway. back to the drawing board :d
