Does any one have a picture they are willing share showing the joint of the MK side panel and rear panel, the side panel is a lot thicker in section
than the rear panel, and I cannot get a neat looking job
Thanks in advance
Have a look at hellfires website. I think he made some custom aluminium covers to hide the gap, thats if i'm thinking of the right join.

this was blatantly stolen from Hellfire's site! cheers Guys
you can find the rest of the pics in the month of January in his build diary!

Just remember though, because we did it this way, doesn't necessarily mean that it's the right way. However, we had no alternative but to
cover the joint because we had to remove the top edge of the rear panel where it meets the side panel due to the slope in our rear panel. I have seen
perfectly acceptable results where the two have just been butted together. Some care is required on this join though to get it looking neat.

You'd have more luck asking for £10 notes
I'm not ashamed of mine, but it's not my proudest bit either!
I did do a lot of filing out of the thickness of the back panel at this point and "adjustment" of the support tube to get it such that I was
happy enough, I reckon I spent about a week in all getting the height, angle and skew of the back panel just right, but it's pefectly
possible.
I did try to make a thermoplastic cover , not unlike Hellfires, but that was taking longer still so I stuck with what I've got.
I am planning on a soft top for the boot to replace this SVA lid, which will cover what little of it you can see once he rear wings are fitted
anyway
