Well, after a top day at Rockingham without incident (apart from the EVO8 going straight into the concrete wall), I was putting my car back on the trailer and caught the other side:

The new orificie is a good 6" long though!

Yeah - EVO8 was a right off. Front wheel clean off and engine was smoking when I went past.

Yep - forgot to raise trailer as it was fine whilst taking the car off (weighted).

Have you considered painting the side panels? At least you could then patch the holes and slap some filler over it.

Absolutely gutting though, I would be quite upset if I'd done that

I did that Pat after a trackday at Llandow. I'd lowered the rear legs of the trailer so we could use it as a viewing platform but forgot to raise them before loading the car. We took a chunk out of the bottom edge of the side panel but managed to repair it with some gel-coat. You'd never know it had been there.
