Anyone remember my original post:
Well, after a top day at Rockingham without incident (apart from the EVO8 going straight into the concrete wall), I was putting my car back on the
trailer and caught the other side:
The new orificie is a good 6" long though!
Pat

Yes. C'mon the suspense is killing me!
Edit: I suppose you think that was funny!
Bummer mate. Have you got any gaffa tape? You're bound to do it again.

Too quick Mr Confused but Excited!
Pat...
You can't go back and edit your posts - that'll foncuse everyone!
Pat...
bad luck mate
john.
Sounds like it's time to attack the trailer ramps with Mr Angry Grinder!
At least you've got a matching set now...
Boo, never mind tho much cheaper to fix than an EVO8
Battle scars make it look hard
James
will you look after those bloody side panels!
is it time for the 9" angry grinder to take the inside edges off the channels then?
did you just not have the front end high enough?
commiserations anyway mate.

Yeah - EVO8 was a right off. Front wheel clean off and engine was smoking when I went past.
Yep - forgot to raise trailer as it was fine whilst taking the car off (weighted).

You should of done the elvington trackday the other weekend,
.
Yep - but being on a real track is a whole new ball game!
You can go over the rumble strips and pretend your a race car driver.
Pat...
its war wounds pat, sickening at first but it will soon end up like my old one!
any footage then?
rockingham kicks ass....
Opps.. Not again!
At least you now have a "matching pair" of holes!
Dan
Have you considered painting the side panels? At least you could then patch the holes and slap some filler over it.
Absolutely gutting though, I would be quite upset if I'd done that
I did that Pat after a trackday at Llandow.
I'd lowered the rear legs of the trailer so we could use it as a viewing platform but forgot to
raise them before loading the car. We took a chunk out of the bottom edge of the side panel but managed to repair it with some gel-coat. You'd
never know it had been there.
