Anyone know a good solvent to remove evo-stick from fibreglass. Nothing I have seems to make much impact on it.
Thanks in advance
Jim
Try wd40
we use evostick timebond at work. When we need to remove it, we normally use the solvent supplied with the colourfill, however, it can also be softened by simply putting more glue on top of it. This may only work with timebond and not other evostick products.
Petrol?
YOu can buy Evostik cleaner from places like B&Q. It is a solvent base that thins uncured Evostik, and softens cured evostik.
It is in a little red and silver tin usually...
Cheers
Andy
Wd 40 works well especially for removing it from hands, not sure how good it would be once fully set though.

I think I used white spirit the last time I needed to do this.
Gasoline leaded or unleaded or medical doesn't meter , that is best solution or 3M glue remover spray
Thanks guys. Getting there slowly with White Spirit. Will try a bit of petrol this evening to see if that is any quicker.

cellulose thinners works, cleaned it off 2 fibreglass seats which had carpet glued to it. plus cleaned the fibreglass
